We understand that a lot of people are struggling with buying enough groceries to have three meals a day and keep the cupboards filled until a next payday. The astronomical cost of groceries in the high north, is leaving people without food and making difficult decisions. Sometimes people and families are going days at a time without food until funds arrive.
Polaris Pantry has opened a food bank to serve remote communities and will assist qualified community service groups that are trying to meet a great need for their people.

We receive, organize and pack food hampers that are then shipped to community groups. Whether it's by Canada Post, Truck-transport or Air Freight, we get the free food to the communities, the most affordable way possible.
2026 will be our first Sealift of free-food going on Desgagnes for communities.

Our team is made up of like-minded, dedicated and experienced professionals who have one goal; to help food security in the short term, such as the food bank and intermediate and long term with some of our other innovative programs.
