Welcome to Elder Eagles

We are here to assist elders in remote communities, North of the 60th parallel, with meal and wellness program development.

Polaris Pantry recognizes the challenges elders are experiencing in these areas.

Rising grocery prices are making it so that a senior on fixed income cannot cover all of their essentials required for normal living.

The main suppliers of groceries are not locally headquartered.  Their business model is purely profit driven with shareholders and stakeholders making lucrative dividends.

Polaris Pantry is in development, with communities to create non-profit programs using a cost-plus business model.
This keeps it affordable to deliver ongoing and sustainable programs.

Polaris Pantry is proud to support the Elders Eagles of remote northern communities. The Family Tree program aims to give elders in participating communities an opportunity to make their family tree as a keepsake or display. The family trees are something they make or create with photos, art, pics or any relevant historical memorabilia. We are hoping eligible communities might have extra space for this program for participating elders to draw, create and display their completed trees. This activity is another way that elders can get together anytime they want work on their tree. This program gives elders something to pass on to their younger generation, that shows their family lineage and ancestry. As for people deceased, they could be termed as passed away. We would supply papers, pens, printer and stationery to start this process, as well as paint and brushes if the elders were to paint their trees on a wall or canvas.  We would supply everything needed for a beautiful wall or canvas mural.

Please reach out to Polaris Pantry if you wish you community to be considered for this interesting program. High Arctic communities will receive priority consideration to receive this program.
